The 3 poems to be translated are provided in the source text section of the website. Contestants who submit their work by 2020/4/18 through the Google Form will have a chance to get their translation published in our magazine and win up to 1500 NTD.

​Eligible Contestants: Undergraduate students in the College of Foreign Languages at FJU

​

Prize: Poem A--> 1000NTD

          Poem B--> 1200NTD

          Poem C--> 1500NTD

​*Each contestant can only submit one piece of translation

​

​Judge: We have invited Father Bauer to be the judge. After receiving your submissions we will discuss with him and select exceptional works to be published in the magazine. We will only put one translation in our magazine for each Chinese poem. Prior to publication, the winning contestants will receive feedback on their translation and corrections on binary errors, but in the process we will try our best to leave their translation style intact. 

 

​Results: We will contact the winners on 2020/4/30 via email.

Remarks: Organizers of the event will have the right to modify the contestants' work and publish it in the 2019-2020 English Department Student Magazine.
